We’re looking for someone with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, jQuery, content management systems, e-commerce websites, email newsletters and developing on WordPress.

Position Description

As a web designer for Roketto you will be given the task of creating custom web designs and developing new websites (utilizing WordPress), as well as maintaining and updating existing client websites. You will also be working on brand development projects, print materials, conversion optimization, landing pages, and much more. These tasks will require you to be comfortable and efficient with the Adobe creative suite, and coding in HTML5, CSS, Javascript and PHP.

We service several clients across many different verticals, so you must have strong time management skills and an efficient work style. You will work closely with our development team and dedicated project manager.

We are looking for someone with minimum 6 months experience in the field (or a real talent fresh out of school) who can hit the ground running. Training will be minimal as we need someone to help us out immediately with our current projects. You should enjoy solving problems independently and keeping up to date with the newest design trends.

Qualifications

  • Great eye for design
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • HTML(5), CSS, JavaScript + jQuery, PHP
  • Understanding of importing & exporting MySQL databases
  • Setting up WordPress websites from scratch
  • Familiarity with cPanel
  • Experience with media queries and building responsive websites
  • Excellent at solving the challenges of cross browser rendering (desktop [IE, FF, Chrome, Safari] and mobile[iOS, Android])

About You

You are data driven, and comfortable owning the full marketing funnel. You are not only a prolific writer, but also possess a deep understanding of how to create and deliver the right type of content for every stage of the Buyer’s Journey.

Inbound Marketing Responsibilities

While we will be providing training, we are looking for someone with a minimum of 6 months experience with inbound marketing, and who is familiar with inbound methodologies. Responsibilities will include:

  • Research and define customer personas
  • Set quarterly SMART goals
  • Create 12 month marketing plans
  • Grow our clients subscriber base and web traffic by providing their customers with regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests.
  • Convince others that your creative ideas & strategic plans are worth investing time and effort in. This role is at the core of our marketing team, as others will rely on your work every single day.
  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar to organize your plan in advance, and ensure all items are aligned with the client’s goals.
  • Good understanding of SEO, and performing keyword research.
  • Optimize our client’s marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, workflows and social channels.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine the process to convert customers.
  • Client interfacing and regular communication including reviews, strategy, and consultation in regards to their inbound marketing activities.

Content Creation Responsibilities

We will require you to have copywriting skills & experience. We need someone who writes creatively, with passion, for today’s internet audience. Please provide examples. Responsibilities to include:

  • Regular creation of content offers such as ebooks, whitepapers, guides, and more to drive leads, subscribers, awareness and other important metrics.
  • Blogging on a frequent basis to support offers and attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.
  • Copywriting for new and existing web pages. This could be anything from a landing page to an entire website.

Requirements

  • Past experience researching and producing content for the web, as well as channel-specific knowledge (Blog articles, Ebooks, SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
  • You are an effective communicator, and can write great content people can’t help but engage with.
  • Min. 6 months experience with inbound marketing.
